COVID-19 Response Effort
USAY has responded to the COVID crisis in the following ways:
Delivered food gift cards into the community in the amount of more than $180,000
Impacted more than 1,000 individuals
Created connection through virtual draws which distributed more food gift cards into the community
Provided vital technology into the community so Indigenous youth in our programs and beyond could connect
Supported home school efforts with distribution of supplies
Lifted spirits with birthday celebration parades/dances
Distributed sanitation and hygiene products to encourage safety (masks, sanitizer)
Created cultural connections with smudge kits and positive Indigenous content (New Tribe and Thunder distribution)
Celebrated graduates
